Project “Innovative reading promotion solutions for Lithuanian libraries for the development of social relations of children and youth with the environment” is financed for the period of 2014-2021 by the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism Instrument "Developing Access to Culture and Strengthening Cultural Education".
We would like to inform that on December 23rd the library will work one hour less (09.00–19.00). On December 24th, 25th, 26th and on January 1st the library will not work.
On December 31st library's working hours 09.00–17.00.

Nowadays, at least before the Covid-19 pandemic, we could not imagine our life without going abroad for holidays, work, family visits. Today, as never before, it is also pertinent for each person to keep up with rapidly evolving technologies to catch up with the modern lifestyle. There is no surprise that more and more seniors are trying to learn the English language. What are the main factors that can facilitate and encourage to learn of the English language for the elderly?
From March 22 in Kaunas County Public Library publications are issued in the usual way – in reading rooms. Readers can return the borrowed publications to the library unit from which the publication was borrowed, or by a self-service device (Radastų St. 2, at the service entrance).
